🌿 MINT CARE TIPS — KEEP YOUR MINT HAPPY & BUSHY!

Mint is one of those herbs that can grow beautifully when you give it the right care. Here are 5 simple tips to keep your mint thriving:

1. ✂️ Prune regularly – Pinch off the growing tips and trim overgrown stems to encourage fresh, bushier growth.
2. 💧 Water consistently – Mint likes evenly moist soil, but avoid leaving it sitting in waterlogged soil.
3. ☀️ Give it good light – Place your mint where it gets plenty of bright light, preferably with some morning or gentle afternoon sun.
4. 🌱 Harvest often – Don’t be afraid to use your mint! Regular harvesting encourages the plant to produce more fresh shoots.
5. 🪴 Give the roots room – Mint spreads quickly, so growing it in a pot or container can help keep it under control.

Little care + regular harvesting = lots of fresh mint for your kitchen! 🌿💚

CARE TIPS TO KEEP YOUR THYME GROWING STRONG!

Thyme is a hardy herb, but a little extra care will keep it bushy, fragrant and productive. 🌱

1. ☀️ Give it plenty of sunlight
Thyme loves sunshine! Place it where it can get at least 6 hours of direct sunlight each day for healthy, aromatic growth.

2. 💧 Don’t overwater
Allow the soil to dry out slightly between watering. Thyme dislikes constantly wet roots, so make sure your pot has good drainage.

3. ✂️ Prune regularly
Trim the soft growing tips regularly to encourage your thyme to become fuller and bushier instead of long and leggy.

4. 🌱 Use well-draining soil
Thyme thrives in light, well-draining soil. Avoid heavy soil that holds too much water around the roots.

5. ✂️ Harvest little and often
Take small amounts regularly rather than cutting the plant back too heavily at once. Always leave enough leafy growth for the plant to keep producing.

🌿 Give your thyme sun, good drainage and regular trims, and it can keep rewarding you with fresh herbs for a long time!

🌿 BASIL CARE TIPS 🌿
Just got yourself a basil plant? Here are 5 simple things to keep it happy, healthy & producing lots of leaves! 💚

1. ✂️ PRUNE REGULARLY
Don’t be afraid to harvest! Pinch or cut just above a pair of leaves to encourage your basil to branch out and become bushier. Remove flower buds if your main goal is more leaves.

2. 💧 WATER CONSISTENTLY
Basil loves moisture, but it doesn’t like sitting in soggy soil. Water when the top layer of soil feels slightly dry and make sure your pot has good drainage.

3. 🌱 SAVE YOUR SEEDS
Let a few flowers mature instead of harvesting everything. Once the flower heads dry and turn brown, collect the tiny seeds and store them in a cool, dry place for your next planting.

4. ☀️ GIVE IT SUN
Basil thrives with plenty of sunlight. Give it around 6–8 hours of good sunlight each day for strong growth and fragrant, flavourful leaves.

5. 🌿 HARVEST THE RIGHT WAY
Always harvest from the top and cut just above a leaf pair. Regular harvesting encourages new growth instead of leaving your basil tall, thin and leggy.

Plant it. Prune it. Pick it. Grow it again. 🌿💚

🍊 NEW CITRUS PLANT MUM? SAVE THIS! 🌱

You didn’t just buy a citrus plant—you bought the beginning of your own mini orchard. 💚
Here are 5 things you MUST do to keep your grafted citrus happy and growing!

1️⃣ REMOVE ANY SHOOTS BELOW THE GRAFT 🍃✂️
See leaves or shoots growing below the grafting point? Remove them!
Those are rootstock shoots, and if you leave them, they can compete with—and eventually overpower—the grafted variety you actually bought.

2️⃣USE THE RIGHT CONTAINER
Once a fruit tree is grafted it can thrive in containers ensure to use the right container for best results

3️⃣ DON’T DROWN YOUR CITRUS 💦
Water deeply, then allow the growing medium to drain properly. Citrus hates sitting in constantly soggy soil.
If the top few centimetres of soil are still wet, wait before watering again.

4️⃣ KEEP THE GRAFT UNION ABOVE THE SOIL 🌱
When planting or repotting, never bury the graft union. Keep that swollen/joined area clearly above the soil line. Burying it can encourage problems and may allow the rootstock to produce unwanted growth.

5️⃣ FEED IT—BUT DON’T OVERFEED 🍊🌿
Give your citrus a suitable citrus/fruit-tree fertiliser during active growth, following the product instructions. A little regular nutrition is better than dumping a huge amount of fertiliser around the roots.
