🏠 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗛𝗢𝗠𝗘, 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘… 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗡𝗢 𝗞𝗘𝗬𝗦! 😂🔑

Moving into a new home is exciting. New memories, new surroundings and, of course, the obligatory trip out to find something to eat! 🍔😂

We were recently called by a customer who had just moved into their new home and decided to pop out to grab some food.

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗸𝗲𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲! 😬

After returning to find themselves locked out, they gave Lockforce Locksmith York a call.

We attended and, in no time at all, used a non-destructive method of entry to safely gain access to the property without damaging the door or lock.

Our customer was soon back inside and, most importantly, back in the warmth! 🔥🏠

Moving day is stressful enough without adding a lockout to the list!

🔐 “IT’S GOING TO COST ME A FORTUNE, ISN’T IT?” 😩😂

We received a call one evening from a customer who was unable to lock her door for the night.

Understandably, she was worried. She had visions of a major repair, a new lock and a rather expensive evening ahead!

Reluctantly, she gave us a call and asked if we could take a look.

Thankfully, the problem wasn't anywhere near as dramatic as she had feared. 😅

After inspecting the door, we found that it simply needed a good service and some adjustment.

A little bit of TLC, a few adjustments and some servicing later — and the door was locking and operating as good as new! 🔧🔐

No expensive lock replacement. No unnecessary parts. Just the work that was actually needed.

It's a good reminder that calling a locksmith doesn't always mean it's going to cost the earth.

🔐 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥!

We were recently contacted by a customer who had become concerned about the security of their home.

They wanted to make sure their property was properly protected and asked us to take a look at their existing lock.

After assessing the door, we recommended upgrading the existing lock to a high-security lock designed to provide an additional level of protection.

We fitted the new lock, checked the door and locking mechanism and made sure everything was working correctly before we left.

Sometimes it's not about waiting until something goes wrong — it's about taking a few simple steps to improve your security and give yourself some peace of mind. 🔐

🔐 WHEN YOUR BACK DOOR DECIDES IT’S NOT PLAYING BALL! 😂

We were recently called out to a customer who had gone to unlock their back door, only to find that something had gone seriously wrong.

The centre case had failed, leaving the customer unable to properly lock and secure the door.

Not ideal when it’s your back door — and definitely not something you want to leave unresolved! 😬

We reacted quickly, attended the property and safely gained access to the door.

After inspecting the problem, we confirmed that the centre case had failed and needed replacing.

🔧 We replaced the broken part, checked the locking mechanism and tested the door to make sure everything was working correctly again.

Another insecure door sorted and, more importantly, another customer able to get on with their day without worrying about their back door!

If your door suddenly becomes difficult to lock, don't force the handle or key. A failing mechanism can sometimes get worse and leave you locked out or with an insecure property.

Door not locking properly? Give Lockforce York a call before a small problem becomes a big one! 🔐

What a lovely chap! Lee came out to fix my door after 7pm. He immediately suspected what the problem was and got straight to work. It was fixed quickly and efficiently. Also gave me sound advice about maintaining the door mechanism. Would definitely recommend.

🔐 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗟! 🔑

We were recently called out to a local garage in York to install a high-security key safe.

Key safes can be incredibly useful for businesses, landlords, carers, cleaners and homeowners who need to provide controlled access to a property.

But there’s an important point that often gets overlooked…

💷 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁!

A basic, low-quality key safe may not provide the level of security you actually need. If you're using a key safe to protect access to your home or business, it's worth choosing a properly tested, insurance-approved option where required.

Depending on your insurance policy, your insurer may specify particular security standards for key safes — so always check your policy before buying one.

For this York garage, we installed a high-security key safe and made sure it was securely fitted and ready for use.

🔐 Your keys are protecting access to your property — so don't compromise on the safe that protects them!

A huge shout-out to The Forces Group, which won a National Business Award last week at the ICC in Birmingham! 🏆

The award recognises organisations that help other business owners grow and succeed. It’s a proud moment for everyone across Lockforce, Pestforce and Washforce.

At the heart of the award entry were the stories of local business owners. Building a successful business has helped people across the network spend more time with family, gain greater financial security, employ others and grow in confidence.

Congratulations to the team at The Forces Group and to the local business owners and teams whose hard work made this possible. Thank you, too, to every customer who chooses to support a local business. 👏
