💚 Giving back to our local community | St David’s Hospice

On 18th August, five members of the Ventair Cooling team headed to St David’s Hospice in Newport to roll up their sleeves and give something back to a cause that means so much to us.

Our team got stuck into a range of painting and gardening tasks, including mowing lawns, strimming and hedge cutting, helping to keep the hospice grounds looking their best for the patients, families and staff who rely on this incredible place. 🌿🎨

For our Operations Director, Zack Wilkinson, St David’s Hospice holds a particularly special place in his heart. The hospice cared for his mother, who sadly passed away in August 2024. Being able to give our time and support to an organisation that provided such meaningful care to Zack and his family made the day even more special.

We’re incredibly proud of our team for coming together to support such a worthwhile cause. A huge thank you to everyone at St David’s Hospice for the amazing work you do and for welcoming us.

🌿 A day well spent! 💚

Today, some of the Ventair Cooling team swapped the office for the great outdoors and headed over to St Richard's Hospital in Worcester for a day of volunteering.

We got stuck in with clearing out old garden furniture and wood, painting fences and generally giving the gardens a good tidy-up. 💪🪴🎨

It was a brilliant day, lots of teamwork, plenty of laughs and, most importantly, all for a great cause.

A huge thank you to Amy Bah from St Richard’s Hospice for looking after us and showing us around, we really enjoyed our day!

We’re proud to support such an important local charity and hope our little bit of hard work will help make a difference. ❤️

🏫 One project. Three schools. One complete HVAC solution.

We’re proud to have supported the development of Oakley Grove School in Leamington Spa, a major all-through education facility bringing together a 34-place nursery, 420-place primary school and 900-place secondary school, alongside SEND provision and a sports hall.

Secured through the Scape construction framework, the project called for a coordinated approach across a large and complex site.

As a one-stop-shop, Ventair Air Cooling supplied and installed the ventilation ductwork systems and Mitsubishi air conditioning systems throughout all three schools and the sports hall. 🌬️❄️

By delivering both ventilation and air conditioning, we provided a streamlined solution designed to keep the project moving efficiently while creating comfortable, well-ventilated learning and working environments.

Ventair Air Cooling is looking for an experienced HVAC / Ventilation Fitter to join our team on a project in central Bristol.

📍 Location: Central Bristol
🚆 Conveniently located near Temple Meads Station
🚗 Parking available on site
📅 Short-term basis, with the opportunity for ongoing work for the right person

What we're looking for:
✅ CSCS Card – Blue Card minimum for Fitters
✅ 1 Day Health & Safety qualification or higher (e.g. SSSTS)
✅ Relevant experience in HVAC / ventilation installation
✅ Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a site team

The project is continuing to develop, so while the initial opportunity is on a short-term basis, there is potential for further work if the placement is successful.

FROM A SUMMER PLEA TO AN INCREDIBLE GIFT

Earlier on this summer we put a plea out for help as the kennels at the rescue centre were getting so hot and there was an impending heat wave. Little did we know, it was the start of a very long hot spell. We were overwhelmed by the level of support that was offered by the local community in offering fans and other cooling methods. It really did help us to cool the dogs and team down.

What was even more overwhelming was to receive a generous offer of support to install air conditioning in the main kennel blocks from Ventair Cooling Ltd TF Solutions and Daikin UK These units will provide essential cooling in the long hot summers and heating during the chilly winter months. We are so grateful to all three companies for this incredible unexpected, generous gift that will make a huge difference for months and years to come.

We’re proud to have played our part in the development of the Hereford Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), a new state-of-the-art facility designed to help diagnose cancer and other health conditions earlier and with greater accuracy.

As part of the project, Ventair Air Cooling supplied and installed ventilation ductwork systems across two floors, including the ground-floor external AHU.
