No jokes and no snappy AI
A few weeks ago a potential client stated when referring to a quote they had not received yet
“But come on you inflate your costs because of the government’s grant”

We don’t! in fact we can’t as we are a husband and wife team that mainly depend on word of mouth recommendations from clients, if anything we have to make sure we are as competitive as the big house hold energy companies that have recently started installing heat pumps

So no we do not inflate our cost and do not plan to

Public Service Announcement (before the politicians make up their minds…)

Nobody knows what the future holds, but if there are changes in government over the coming years, schemes such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and other support for renewable heating could change or even disappear.

A quick note for anyone considering an air source heat pump and wondering why we don’t always arrange a site survey straight away like the larger companies

As a husband-and-wife team, we provide a personal, one-to-one service, but this means we can’t immediately visit every enquiry. Instead, we ask new clients to complete a short questionnaire so we can gather all the information we need in one place.

Using your answers and your property’s EPC, we can usually prepare a remote basic quotation, giving you a realistic idea of costs before arranging a site visit.

If you’re happy to proceed, we’ll then carry out a full site survey, complete detailed heat loss calculations, and design your system, including any radiator upgrades that may be required.

We find this process is quicker, more efficient, and saves everyone time. So if we ask you to complete a questionnaire first, please don’t be disappointed—it’s simply the first step in helping us provide the best possible service.
