Araminta Fogden, Artist. UK Artist, painting British wildlife, selling original, prints and gifts. My work is generally done in Acrylic and ink. I do my best, I love to paint! :)

My inspirations include wonderful haughty hens and their hen pecked cockerels. Whimsical hares, stunning peacocks, and amusing runner ducks. I also love our ancient images from England's past, the green man, and the eternally linked three hares and their moon.

Thanks to Prime Networks, the new cameras are installed, and I now need to work out how to use them! So far, I can capture still images and I’m now working on how to save and edit videos.

THE BIG NEWS IS THAT WE HAVE A NEW PAIR OF BIRDS!

The new male is ringed with an orange ring marked “3HL”. The (unringed) female has different markings to Bella so she is also a newcomer.
CR (aka Christopher Robin) would be 16 years old this year, having hatched in 2010 at Cheltenham. This is a really good age for a wild peregrine. Bella was his third partner after Alice ("DX" Avon gorge 2011) and another unringed female we also called Bella.
The two new birds are certainly displaying the expected courtship behaviour, with the male bowing to the female, so all is looking good for this year’s breeding season.
Thanks again to all the supporters of this channel for crowd funding the new cameras. So with new birds and new cameras, the future of the Tewkesbury Abbey peregrines looks bright.

As usual… working on three projects at once… like a numpty! This is probably the hardest one 🙂 Been following the progress of the Falcons that nest on top the Tewkesbury Abbey… and would like to paint one of them!
This is the start.. Im also keen to incorporate some Romanesque/Norman arches into the piece, as you know I do love an arch! 😄
A little worried about actually painting the Peregrine Falcon as they have so many beautiful and distinct feathers… will have to slow down take some time 🙂

Working on a couple of new card designs … this is my Wicked Raven! 😁
Just look at him scratching up the Bluebells… such a stinker!

Nearly finished… just need to open up his eye some more and paint in the lettering 😀
Then of course it takes about three years to dry as he is in oil paint 🥴😁
