A job so thoroughly enjoyable, we didn't want to leave! 😊❤️
We recently had the absolute pleasure of completely re-building the brick retaining wall to this centuries-old rose garden at a beautiful property in Winkfield. 🧱⚒️
We demolished the old brickwork and stepped brick footing, and replaced it with a new footing and triple skinned wall. She's going nowhere! 👷🏼
While a lot of our work these days involves constructing modern, contemporary gardens using materials like porcelain, it's nice from time to time to have the opportunity to build something traditional.
These lovely clients chose this blend of Kassandra Multi bricks alongside natural sandstone capping stones from Nigel Belcher Stone Paving to perfectly compliment their extended 15th century home.
Oh, and while we were here we also added land drains to the sunken garden, and installed a lovely new granite sett rumble strip on the entrance to the driveway! 😊
Trends come and go, but it was a pleasure to build something that we know should outlive us and be enjoyed for many, many years to come. ❤️
