A little networking and a lot of Car Spotting 😀

We had a great time attending a local busines networking event at Mercedes-Benz in Weybridge last week. It was lovely to meet other businesses and exchange ideas.
As a family run business, we love getting out into the local community, supporting other busineses and building new relationships.

A big thankyou to everyone involved for such an enjoyable event!

More water storage, built around the customer’s needs.

When a customer in Sunbury upgraded their pump system, they needed increased water storage capacity to match.

We installed a new 75-gallon coffin tank, built a bespoke timber support platform, and reconfigured the existing pipework to suit the new setup before carrying out full system testing.
Another practical solution delivered by the team. ✅

Nobody wants to think about frozen pipes while we're still enjoying the last of the summer.

But autumn is exactly when you SHOULD be thinking about them.

Over the next few weeks, take a look at any pipework in colder areas of your home, particularly garages, lofts and outside walls.

Making sure exposed pipes are properly insulated before temperatures drop can help prevent frozen and burst pipes later.

A little preparation now can save a lot of stress in December.

Go on. Have a look.

The cupboard under the kitchen sink is one of those places we fill with cleaning products and then largely ignore.

September challenge:

Empty it out and check for:

💧 Dampness
💧 Water marks
💧 Corrosion around connections
💧 Musty smells
💧 Drips

You might just spot a small plumbing problem before it becomes a big one.

The school bags are packed, alarms are set and the morning rush is back!

September is when our homes suddenly get busy again too.

More morning showers.
More washing.
More baths.
More pressure on your plumbing.

If you've been putting off that troublesome tap, temperamental shower or toilet that isn't quite behaving itself, now's a good time to get it sorted.

Start the new school year with one less thing on the to-do list.

Heading off on holiday? Before you lock the door, take two minutes to check these five simple plumbing jobs:

✔️ Turn off your washing machine and dishwasher water supply.
✔️ Check there are no dripping taps or visible leaks.
✔️ If you'll be away for a while, consider turning off your main water supply.
✔️ Empty any outdoor hoses and turn off outside taps if they're not needed.
✔️ Ask a neighbour or friend to pop in occasionally to make sure everything looks as it should.

Coming home to a burst pipe or water damage is the last thing anyone wants after a relaxing break. A few quick checks before you leave could save you a lot of stress.

💦 We don't just fix leaks... we believe in preventing waste too.

This summer, water is more precious than ever.

Before you pour away that leftover glass of water, why not use it to water a plant instead? It might seem like a tiny gesture, but small habits really do add up.

As plumbers, we're passionate about helping customers save water, whether that's repairing leaks, improving efficiency or simply sharing practical tips that can reduce your water bills.

Every drop counts.
