Thanks for all your support over the years but the time has come to stop.
As some of you will be aware I have a part-time job working on the racecourse for a good friend and boss, Jonathan Jona Ridley ( Johnny Ridley Bookmakers). I don't class it as work, as watching horse racing has long been a pastime I enjoy. And to now be a part of the race goers day out makes it even better, even when it's splashing with rain or blowing a gale, or sweltering heat as it was yesterday at Newcastle. Like every job there's good and not so good, but the not so good are few and far between.
You'll still see the van on the road, for a couple of months as I have a few jobs to finish, which will fit around the racing, but I'm not taking on anymore work.
