RLM Architects were delighted to be involved in this project for a new health centre in Bournemouth which was officially opened earlier this week. We worked alongside Dorset HealthCare, Mabey Francis, Calcinotto and Spetisbury Construction to bring modern healthcare facilities into the heart of the Winton community.
The building has been unused since July 2023 following its closure. It will now be home to Banks and Bearwood GP practice and a range of community health services run by Dorset HealthCare including the following:
• paediatric services
• children's speech and language therapy
• podiatry
• leg ulcer clinics
• community oncology
• heart failure clinics
• health visiting, school nursing and district nursing
• NHS talking therapies for mental health.
The first patients will be seen at the GP practice from 1 September, with community health services launching shortly afterwards.

Our MD Keith Loveless is walking along the Jurassic Coast for charity.
He starts his first walk this Saturday 6th June 2026 at 10am from St. Nicholas Church, Hengistbury, the walks continue through until the 17th October. Swipe left to see the full list.

Huge congratulations to Hannah on her well-deserved Distinction! 🎓✨

It's been a "long time coming" but Hannah truly is a "mastermind" for successfully intertwining Taylor Swift and Architecture in her Master of Architecture dissertation "The Pop Culture Gap: Integrating the Scenography of Taylor Swift Era’s into Architectural Discourse". In our "wildest dreams" we might never have seen how pop culture and phenomenology could be so intertwined, but she found the "invisible string" to connect Taylor Swift's Era's and the built environment. The examiners agreed, awarding her a well-deserved Distinction. It's the "love story" between architectural theory and pop culture that we didn't know we needed."Long live" all the time she spent writing, we are simply "enchanted" to see what she does next. 👏👏👏

The audiology suite at one of Dorset HealthCare’s clinics was flooded following a pipe leak. RLM were called in to detail the remedial works and the fit out of a full audiology room as well as a room to contain an audiology booth. This is what it looks like now!
