Powering a new Mountain Rescue base in Cumbria 🌞

We’re currently installing a 24.5kW Solar PV system, made up of 55 solar panels, as part of the construction of a new Mountain Rescue base in Cumbria.

The system will also be connected to an impressive 86kWh battery storage system, with off-grid island mode capability to help keep essential power running in the event of a power cut.

A great example of how renewable technology can be integrated into a new build to provide both efficient energy generation and added resilience.

Could your home qualify for a £9,000 heat pump grant?

From 21 July 2026, the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant is set to increase to £9,000 for eligible off-gas grid homes in England and Wales that are currently heated by oil or LPG.

The increased grant will apply to air-to-water and ground source heat pumps, helping more households make the switch to renewable heating.
