Another big transformation completed ✅🐀
This garage had suffered from a very high rat infestation, caused by a fault with the drainage system. Once the drain fault had been repaired.and a rat control treatment put in place, the next stage was the full clear-out, inspection and decontamination.
With an infestation this severe, it’s not enough to simply remove the mess. Everything needs to be gone through thoroughly so we can inspect for signs of rodent damage, including gnawing, contaminated materials, damaged belongings and any areas where rats may have been nesting or travelling.
The garage was then thoroughly biocided. A biocide treatment involves applying professional disinfectant products to contaminated surfaces and areas affected by rat urine, droppings and nesting material. This helps reduce the harmful bacteria and microorganisms associated with rodent contamination, making the area safer to clean, handle and use again.
As you can see from the before and after photos, this was a huge job, but a really satisfying one 😊
We genuinely enjoyed getting stuck into this project, and most importantly, the customer is now so much happier with their garage after going through a very stressful situation.
