The roof is on the double story over at our Manchester job. All ready for the roof on Tuesday on the double story over at our Manchester job. Back end of next week the roof will be water tight then knock through to be done into the existing house then the scaffolding can be dropped to then get the roof put on the single story. Bit slower than we’re used to due to having to get the scaffolding out the way but no other way to do it. Customer is happy with the speedy progress up to this point. Been back in a week n half and got this up ready for the roof. First we need to get steels in place ready for a 2nd story coming off the existing house.we need to get the double story completed 1st before the roof can go on the single story due to the scaffold that’s needed. New job started over at wardley in Manchester, garage and existing single story extension taken down, floors in ready to start building a single and a double story extension. After a well deserved holiday to refuel. It’s been a mega busy 6mth as you’ve probably seen with the pictures posted. Nice 2 week off and we go again. All joinery and roofing finished. Some work gone into this roof and to say it’s absolutely flawless is still an understatement. Nothing at all out of place, brilliant job throughout. Scaffolding coming down tomorrow ready for the screeders Saturday morning, windows being installed back end of next week then that’s us finished on here and what a pleasure it’s been to work on these. That’s another detached bungalow boxed off now onto the pair of semi’s, last 2 plots to go then fully handed over to the customer.fascias and soffits to go on tomorrow, Being felt battened and tiled Monday & Tuesday then 2 small canopy’s to go on either side of the plots over the doors then brickwork to go inside the small apex’s over the windows at the front. Nice little job today for an old mate of mine. Brick work cut, catnik installed and flag frame fitted. Don’t mind jobs like this breaks it up from the big jobs we do 👍
