It’s that time of year again. WASPS😱. Don’t get stung by a company who think they can just blow and go. Environmental considerations should be made on every job, from bats in the area to be treated to aquatic life in a nearby pond. Here at WASP WIZARD we love our nature and understand there needs to be a balance.

Even on a Saturday evening we don't stop. Wasp wizard doesn't just take care of your wasps it also does what it can to look after the environment by rehoming bees. This is the second swarm we have been to today and these will be in their new home very shortly.

They may only be little, but three out of four of these nests were active with queen's busy preparing to raise a family of up to ten thousand offspring. Now is the time to catch them as the treatment is non toxic and there is little impact on the environment.

Had a call today from a lady who had seen a wasp entering her attic. On inspection our new queen is setting up home in a space previously occupied by a another queen. The large nest now on the floor was previously hanging where the new nest is being built. Look carefully and you can see a new nest hanging from the rafter.
This was treated non toxic and everything was then removed and thoroughly hovered.

Fact of the day, a new queen wasp will never occupy an old nest but they will if possible occupy the same nest site as happened here

We love what we do and we do what we love🐝🐝🐝🐝
