This one had a few surprises hiding under the floor!

A full toilet refurbishment at a junior school on behalf of UES, a contractor we've proudly worked alongside for a long time.

Years of floor layers to strip back, damp to sort, and all the drainage moved to suit the new room layout from scratch. The finished result speaks for itself.

It’s warm for the start of October, so heating's probably the last thing on your mind.

But that's exactly when I’d recommend getting it checked.

The first cold snap always brings the same calls – boilers that haven't run properly in months, banging on start-up, radiators warm at the bottom and stone cold at the top.

None of it's urgent yet, but all of it's easier to sort now than when it's -2°C and every engineer's phone is going off at once.

Really enjoyed this one!

A Purr-fect Catch is a new fishmonger opening in Weston-super-Mare. New business, new fit-out, and a proper commercial kitchen prep space built from scratch.

We supplied and fitted all the plumbing – a 50-litre unvented water heater, full hot and cold services, and all the drainage to suit the sink and prep area.

The photos show it better than I can describe it. Bare boards and pencil measurements on day one, finished and ready to trade by the end.

Lovely business and well worth a visit!

Out with the old, in with the new 🔧

This week, we replaced an old Grant oil boiler that had reached the point where repairs no longer made financial sense.

The new Worcester Bosch Greenstar Heatslave II oil combi boiler has been installed and is ready to provide reliable heating and hot water for years to come.

The biggest challenge on this one was access. The boiler was located in a very small cupboard, with both the old and new units weighing over 150kg. That meant careful planning, pipework alterations, and plenty of problem-solving to get everything fitted safely and neatly.

Not every installation is straightforward, but that's where experience counts.

Another happy client and another heating system ready for the years ahead 👊
