A few remedial works around the house 🔨

Not every job is a full room — sometimes it’s about getting the smaller areas sorted. A few repairs and touch-ups carried out around the property, leaving everything neat and ready to move on.

Something a little different on this one 🙌

Curved window reveals all plastered up. A bit more time and care needed to get these right, but they’ve come out spot on and make a great feature around the windows.

Two rooms now fully plastered 👌🏼

Originally two double bedrooms, the customer decided to turn the smaller room into a walk-in wardrobe, closing off the hallway entrance and creating access directly from the main bedroom.

More from Sara & James 🏡

The plastering is moving along nicely, with the staircase and a few more rooms now skimmed and ticked off.

Plenty of awkward angles, high walls and original features to work around on this one, but it’s all starting to come together 👌🏼

More updates from this renovation to come.

A proper before, during & after on this one.

From old, uneven walls and plenty of prep work, through to boarding and finally a fresh skim throughout the staircase and landing.

With the original beams and staircase staying in place, there’s been plenty to work around — but it’s completely changed the look of this space.

Master plasterers doing what they do best 👌🏼

Nothing fancy needed for this one — just years of experience, a trowel and a smooth finish. Always satisfying watching the lads get a good set on and seeing the walls come together. 🔨

Staircase & hallway getting a full fresh skim on this 6- bed renovation.

There’s a lot of detail in this area — high ceilings, Velux windows, deep window reveals and plenty of different angles to work around. The scaffolding has been needed to get right up into those harder-to-reach areas and make sure everything gets the same finish throughout.

A good amount is now plastered and you can really start to see the staircase and hallway coming together. Still some sections to go, but plenty of progress made 👌🏼

One we’ve been looking forward to sharing…The Vicrorian Nook 🏡

We’ve been working on the plastering throughout this renovation, and it’s definitely not your standard four square walls.

The original archways run throughout the property and are a feature in themselves, meaning plenty of detailed work to get those curves clean and the finish right while keeping the character of the building.

A cracking property to be working on, with plenty more from The Victorian Nookto show.
