On our most recent development day, some of our team took part in INNS Awareness: Protecting Our Environment training.

The session covered how to identify, report and manage invasive non-native species (INNS) - an important part of the work we do to protect our environment.

Our team learned what to look out for, how INNS spread and the steps we can take to help protect habitats and native wildlife.

Fancy a swim? 😅

Here’s some of the team getting stuck into their water training, building the skills and knowledge they need to work safely in and around water.

Meet Phill, our Lead Instructor at Vegetation Management Training - VMT 🌲

Phill talks us through his role and the journey his career has taken him on.

We recently received some great feedback following our Chainsaw in a MEWP course, with learners particularly impressed by Phill’s knowledge and expertise.

A closer look at our work at Dunsfold Aerodrome, the former home of the Top Gear test track.

As part of the tree clearance works to prepare the site for future development, all timber on site is being chipped.

To make this possible, our team is using a log splitter attachment on an 8-tonne excavator to split the timber into manageable sizes before it goes through the wood chipper.

A great example of the machinery and practical solutions our team uses to keep a large-scale project moving.

A clear difference before and after!

Our team has been hard at work transforming the area, keeping vegetation under control and maintaining the surrounding landscape.

Our team has been hard at work at Dunsfold Aerodrome, famously known as the former home of the Top Gear test track. 🚜

The team cleared a large area of trees to prepare the site for future development.

With a fascinating history, including its use by the Canadian Air Force during the Second World War, it’s a significant project for our team to be involved in.
