🔧 VACANCY – AIR CONDITIONING LABOURER / IMPROVER

EllisAir HVAC is looking for a reliable and motivated Labourer / Improver to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career within the air-conditioning and HVAC industry and develop skills across multiple trades.

The Role

Air conditioning is a multi-skilled trade. Our work involves much more than simply installing AC units. You will gain hands-on experience working with:

🔹 Refrigeration pipework and installation
🔹 Electrical systems and controls
🔹 Refrigerants and associated equipment
🔹 Condensate and drainage systems
🔹 Building structures and fabric
🔹 Mechanical installation
🔹 Tools, access equipment and site work
🔹 Commercial and domestic HVAC systems

Every contract is different, so we’re looking for someone who is practical, hardworking and willing to learn.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

✅ Be 21years old or over
✅ Hold a full UK driving licence
✅ Hold an in-date CSCS Card
✅ Be willing and able to work away approximately 90% of the year
✅ Be reliable and punctual
✅ Have a strong work ethic
✅ Be comfortable working with tools and on construction sites
✅ Be willing to learn multiple aspects of the HVAC trade
✅ Work well as part of a team and follow instructions

Previous construction, electrical, plumbing, mechanical or air-conditioning experience would be advantageous, but attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are extremely important.

Pay

💷 Rate of pay is negotiable and will depend on experience and current skill level.

There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills within the air-conditioning industry while working on a variety of projects throughout the UK.

Important

⚠️ This position involves working away from home approximately 90% of the year.

Please only apply if you are genuinely comfortable with regular travel and staying away for work.
