Another weekend, another fuseboard. This one took a lot longer than first anticipated but we got it done. Fuseboard changed to incorporate 30mA protection on all circuits along with surge protection. All tested & one happy customer 👍🏼

We managed to replace this incredibly old fuseboard today. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a wooden framed board, gives you an indication on how old that really is.

We carried out a small amount of work to this bathroom.
List of jobs carried out:
- replace the 1 gang switch with a 2 gang switch to incorporate the bathroom lighting
- remove the pull cord inside the bathroom
- replace the fan isolator switch
- remove the fan grille
- investigate state of fan in loft area
- remove mirror light and make cabling safe ready for 2nd part of works
- remove shaver switch
- replace old downlights with IP rated Collingwood Lighting Ltd

We’ve ended up rewiring the lighting entirely to eliminate multiple joint boxes within the ceiling.
