The build is finally starting on this tiny garden in . The clients wanted to keep the existing patio but introduce more natural planting and interest to the space. I've matched up the pavers to the patio and included a cosy reading seat in the back right corner. Looking forward to seeing the finished results and getting the plants in.

One of my new projects at the moment is renovating this huge garden that belongs to a gorgeous Edwardian country house near . We're presently removing about 30 meters of Buxus plants that had all fallen foul to the notorious Box moth infestation. A new planting scheme will then be planned and a new irrigation system installed. Plus I'm in the middle of adding some exciting new design elements to the garden such as pergolas, a new patio, seating area and a walkthrough. There's a lot to do but looking forward to bringing the garden back to its former glory.

Loving the hot colours and grouping of these beauties. Rudbeckia, Echinacea, Verbena and Persicaria happy and thriving in a garden I'm working on in Goffs Oak.

Attitudes to this industry really need to change and salaries payed to reflect the years of study in horticulture, experience and skills that are needed to be a professional gardener.
