β¨ From Cracked Concrete To Crisp Herringbone β¨
Old poured concrete has a habit of doing exactly this β cracking along the joints, staining up and sinking in patches.
We broke the lot out, excavated down to depth, laid a fresh sub-base and finished with charcoal block paving in a 90-degree herringbone, framed by a light contrasting border.
Herringbone isn't just a look. Laid at 90 degrees, the blocks interlock and spread the weight of a vehicle across the whole surface, which is exactly why it's the pattern we use on driveways.
