Renovated 220 x Studio Economy Flats, Croydon, London 🇬🇧. This project involves the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing Croydon Park Hotel, transforming it into 220 modern studio economy flats. Each flat will be outfitted with a decentralised Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) system, specifically the Prana 160 ERP PRO model. These systems will include customised external grilles in RAL 7016 (Anthracite Grey), along with additional external grilles for kitchen hood and bathroom fan extraction, all designed to match the new windows in the economy flats.

Why Choose Prana ERP PRO Systems?

The Prana Recuperator and decentralised MVHR system is engineered for quick assembly and can be conveniently controlled via smartphone using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. This advanced ventilation solution effectively addresses air quality concerns by leveraging a sophisticated array of sensors to monitor and regulate:

• CO2 Levels

• Humidity

• Air Quality (VOCs)

• Temperature

Its automated features facilitate seamless adjustments, ensuring optimal indoor air quality akin to an autopilot system.

This modernisation not only enhances living standards but also promotes a healthier and more comfortable environment for residents. condensation

Importance of Annual Service/Maintenance for Decentralised MVHR/Recuperator Prana Ventilation Systems

At Rochester Independent College, where student accommodations rely on optimal air quality and comfort year-round, the importance of annual service for decentralised Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (dMVHR) Prana units cannot be overstated. Operating 24/7, 365 days a year, these systems work tirelessly to ensure a healthy indoor environment. Regular maintenance every 12 months is crucial for several reasons:

• Efficiency: Over time, dust and debris can accumulate within the system, impairing its performance. Annual servicing helps to clean and optimize the unit, ensuring it operates at peak efficiency.

• Air Quality: The Prana system is designed to continuously monitor and adjust the indoor air quality. Regular maintenance enables the sensors to function correctly, ensuring that CO2 levels, humidity, and airquality, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are kept in check. This is particularly vital in student accommodations where many individuals share common spaces.

• Longevity: Just like any mechanical system, regular servicing extends the lifespan of your dMVHR unit. By identifying and rectifying small issues before they escalate, you can prevent costly repairs or replacements down the line.

• Health Benefits: Properly maintained ventilation systems significantly reduce the risk of indoor air pollution, which can lead to health problems such as allergies, respiratory issues, and general discomfort. Regular service ensures that the system is effectively filtering and circulating fresh air.

• Cost Savings: While there is a cost associated with annual maintenance, it is often far less than the potential expenses incurred from neglecting the system. Enhanced efficiency can also lead to lower energy bills.
