Do we have a backlog of media content for you!! With the addition of a new member on the team, will slowly but surly bring you up to speed with goings on over the last few months.

We currently are working between 2 properties in Berinsfield, otherwise known as project 1 & project 2 for the purpose of this video.

Project 1 is not too far away from completion, and project 2, whilst having taken several months to get going, we finally got the keys last week.

It’s been a gruelling 2 weeks since coming back off holiday and stepping straight back into the pressure vessel of simultaneous projects, but we need to keep on target and meet the completion date.

We’ll bring you up to date with a similar update for project 1 when we head back in on Monday.

Having watched, listened and carefully considered all options, we’ve made the decision to follow the advice of Lib Dem Hina Bokhari, and move towards cargo bikes for our business transportation logistics.
As you can see from our recent photo shoot, it is more than possible to transport tools, plant and materials across the county for our day to day projects.
Please give us a toot if you see us out and about.
The truck is now up for sale, and in its place, two tandem bicycles are also on order from Holland for running the family around.

I’m officially part of the team!

A big thank you all at the pre school for my birthday card and gift-a printed t-shirt to wear when working on site.

We need your help please 💜. We are holding a cake sale for the staff at Williams Jet Tenders, they would like to support us by taking cakes to them to purchase. Can any parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends be able to make any home made goodies for us to sell? We would need them delivered to us by the latest 9am this Friday.

A recent kitchen install for new residents in Wallingford.

Originally, the plan was just to replace the doors on the existing kitchen. After discussing the issues with this approach, and the poor condition of the units, it made more sense to start fresh. We worked with Howdens to recreate the layout while giving it a much-needed upgrade.

A new opening into the dining room has helped the space feel far bigger, despite the compact footprint. We also removed the old window frame into the conservatory that had been left by previous owners and made good with full plastering throughout.
Finished in the Clerkenwell range in Gloss Mist, paired with a White Starlight quartz worktop ✨

My most favourite ever customer (my Son) finally got the new flooring he’s long waited for. It’s fair to say that he loves it!

Not only did he choose it all himself, he also helped with installation.

Having proven myself installing their kitchen in their new home, this lovely retired couple allowed me to carry out a full overhaul on their main bathroom in their property in Wallingford.

Having chosen everything they wanted and got it ordered, it was over to me.

They have their own decorator and floor layer coming in to finish bits off.

“Before you leave, could you just….”
We all get it, but if they are paying, it’s no issue. A new sink and vanity unit in the en-suite, along with a new heated towel rad (now to sort the tiles!)

A stunning renovation project in the heart of Dorchester On Thames, Oxfordshire.

The existing iron railings to the front of the property (undated) were extremely damaged, along with the brick wall below.

To the untrained eye, many would fail to notice that the wall and railings had been constructed at different time periods. The front section elevation and first panel to the side walling was one period. The wall and railings at the side of the property were build at a different time period. Overall wall thickness, bricks and railings were completely different for the two periods.

It was decided that for it to be correct and in-keeping, the project would be repaired and renovated as one. Reusing the old stock bricks to the front elevation, and using new handmade bricks for the side and top courses.

Previous railings were only supported by posts that were built into the lower course of bricks. Over time, and with the deteriorating walling, the railings began to fail. Leaning back towards the house, and breaking apart over time.

It was decided that galvanised, powder coated posts would be installed completely independent of the masonry, to allow for natural expansion and contraction of the different materials involved.

With the brickwork then built between the posts, galvanised, powder coated railings were installed thereafter.

Hopefully, this wall and railings will stand the rest of time, and provide boundary protection to the stunning backdrop of the 1700’s grade 2 listed cottage.
