Cawthorne — part 3 of 3: after installation.

Here is the kitchen and pantry you’ve followed through the design and workshop stages.

Orange fronts bring colour to the U-shaped working area, while olive-green tall cabinetry houses the appliances and conceals the pantry. A pale Egger F422 worktop, silver-finish splashback and continuous shelf complete the working area.

Browse from the room views to the pantry behind the green doors, the drawer storage and the visible plywood edges.

The cabinets and drawer boxes are birch plywood; the painted fronts are moisture-resistant MDF. Each material has its place in the finished furniture.

Cawthorne — part 2 of 3: the making.

From the original design, the orange and olive-green cabinetry is taking shape before it reaches the home.

This is where the idea began.

Cawthorne — part 1 of 3: the design.

These are design visualisations, created while we developed a bespoke kitchen and pantry for a home in Cawthorne.

The concept brings together an orange U-shaped working area, a continuous shelf and olive-green tall cabinetry. Behind matching green doors, pantry shelving makes space for everyday storage.

Standard kitchen systems begin with predetermined cabinet sizes.

We begin with the space, how it needs to work and the result the client wants to achieve.

For this kitchen, the cabinetry was developed specifically for the project rather than adapted around standard modules. Storage was planned around the way the kitchen would be used, with bespoke drawer configurations and cabinetry made to the required dimensions.

Material choice was equally deliberate.

Oak-veneered plywood was selected for the cabinetry, bringing together the structural qualities of plywood with the natural character of oak. FENIX NTM was used alongside the timber, while stainless steel was specified for working surfaces where durability and practical performance were particularly important.

That material knowledge is an important part of what we provide. We consider where each material is being used, how it needs to perform, how it should be constructed and finished, and whether it is the right choice for that particular part of the kitchen.

The same thinking continues into manufacture.

Our furniture is produced in-house using precision CNC machining alongside cabinetmaker refinement, allowing us to control dimensions, details and construction before the furniture reaches site.

That is the difference between choosing from a system and developing a genuinely bespoke kitchen.

It is not simply about having more options.

It is about resolving the space, materials, construction and practical requirements as one project; before production begins.

A recent bespoke kitchen project completed in Leeds.

This one followed a clear Japandi direction, with calm architectural lines, oak texture, and a layout designed to keep the whole elevation visually quiet while still delivering serious everyday function.

The project includes a large island, full height cabinetry, integrated appliances, and a breakfast cabinet that keeps the daily use zone practical but easy to close away when not needed.

What makes projects like this work is not just the material choice. It is the full bespoke set out behind it. Proportions, storage, appliance positions, grain flow, and final fit all need to work together as one composition.
