PHD Access was proud to support the 2026 British Firefighter Challenge, helping ensure the competition tower was ready for another successful event.

Following last year's competition, the tower was stored at our Egham yard, where essential maintenance and repairs were carried out in preparation for the 2026 challenge. Our team then transported the structure to the Fire Service College in Moreton-in-Marsh, supporting the installation, dismantling and logistics required throughout the event.

We're proud to support an event that celebrates the vital work carried out by firefighters across the UK.

Recently, site teams from across PHD Access attended a company seminar covering business updates, current and future projects, logistics operations, and health and safety. A key highlight was a session from men's health advocate John Ryan, who delivered an engaging talk on mental wellbeing and the importance of seeking support when needed.

The day concluded with awards recognising several site managers, followed by a BBQ that gave colleagues the opportunity to celebrate together.

Restoring the Shannon Walls, preserving a piece of history.

PHD Access was proud to support Ward & Burke with a bespoke suspended access solution for the restoration of Limerick's historic Shannon Walls. Working from King John's Castle, our team designed and installed a scaffold suspended into the River Shannon, overcoming tidal conditions, restricted working windows and strict environmental requirements.

Through innovative design, careful planning and a strong focus on safety, we were proud to play a role in preserving this important landmark for future generations.
