Access upgrade at Stamford College 🎓

Making a splash in Lincoln 🏊

Go Swimstars Swim School has opened a new premises in Lincoln. To provide access for all the family-run business needed a step lift that could handle a wet, chlorine-rich changing room environment.

We supplied and installed a Tech Lift M4 TECH LINE Sweden AB with a marine grade finish. A shallow pit allowed us to sit the lift flush with the surrounding floor, with drainage built in. No structural alterations were needed and the whole installation was completed in a day, ready for the grand opening.

We're delighted to share our latest case study, a GTLE platform stair lift installation at Rushden, Higham & Wellingborough Railway Goods Shed, a fantastic heritage venue in Northamptonshire.

The wall-mounted lift gives visitors with limited mobility full internal access to the upper level and toilets. The Goods Shed is now fully accessible and inclusive.

Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens has been welcoming visitors since 2014, with accessibility at the heart of its plans. When four steps stood between the main house and a new exhibition space, the Library Gallery, Ushaw worked with us to find a solution that respected the building's history.

We installed a GTLE platform stair lift: compact, unobtrusive, and designed to leave historic fabric untouched. Visitors with limited mobility can now travel directly into the gallery rather than taking a longer route and using a ramp.

Ushaw told us: "Enhancing disability access at Ushaw is an important part of our ethos. As with all historic buildings, access is a challenge, but we continually strive to remove these barriers to ensure more people can engage with our collections, stories and architecture."

When Saltash Community School's platform stair lift became unrepairable, they needed a fast, practical solution that wouldn't disrupt school life.

We removed the old floor-mounted lift and installed our wall-mounted GTLE platform stair lift during the half-term break. One day. No structural alterations. Full wheelchair access restored to the RE department corridor.

The wall-mounted installation meant we could maximise the usable step width in the corridor, making it a smarter solution all round. The school was so pleased with both the product and service they've already asked us to quote for a second GTLE to replace another ageing lift in their SEN area.
