Emergency plumbing in Llwyngwril this morning a stop tap had broken in the loft of the property thankfully the owner turned it off quickly and avoided too much damage.

Bit of plumbing in Dolgellau today “Simple” job just re-washer the bath tap. When I drained the water off there just happened to be a bit of plastic that had fallen into the tank in the loft which was drawn into the pipework blocking it. two hours later I had managed to get it back out again so much for the “simple job”

Call out to a broken down Air source heat pump today. After A little bit of investigation I found that the unit had tripped the electric and the controller needed to be reprogrammed .

This install was done by one of the grant companies that is no longer in business I can guess why. If you look closely you can see the unit is sinking into the grass outside instead of a proper base.

This shower had an issue with the remote powering on every 30 seconds to display a “cleanup” message which was draining the battery I contacted the manufacturer and was told that they had discontinued all parts for it .Thankfully with a quick search on eBay I managed to find the right replacement for £24 happy customer.

Recent central heating repair in Machynlleth. The heating had not been on during the winter and had burst I pressure tested the pipes and repaired the leaks before topping the system up now it’s all running again

Recent bit of tiling in Aberdovey grey metro tiles and cement grey mapei grout it should dry a lighter colour.
