The proverbial Friday afternoon dreaded phone call. Sitting finishing some paperwork thinking of the meal at home, maybe a beer or a glass of wine. 4:35 in the afternoon. The end of a busy week is upon us. Time to relax …. Then it happens. The phone rings. The heart sinks in the knowledge that a call from this client at this time of day can only mean one thing. There is an issue.
“Can you help us?”. Turns out this system on a trawler keeps cutting out due to a faulty old controller which is more than 25 years old. A quick check of components and bits and pieces on the stock shelves and we are in business. With assistance from local electricians the answer is yes.
New control box made in the workshop and fitted to the boat allowing it to head out for another successful trip.
It’s all part of the service. It’s what we do.
