🌵Another busy week for Joe Ford Grounds & Garden Services! 🌵

It’s been a productive one.
This week we’ve:
✅ Installed a brand-new fence in Cwmbran, replacing an old failing fence with stronger posts, larger rails, and new boards built to last.
✅ Carried out grounds maintenance at local schools.
✅ Kept gardens looking their best with grass cutting, hedge trimming, overgrown area clearance, and w**d control.

Last week 30 degrees! This week rain! Gotta be summer in wales!

We’ve been busy, new deck and pergola build

First cut for the turf job from a few weeks ago looking lovely and thick, almost ready for regular cuts

Lads have been smashing out the commercial and domestic cuts even with the weather, keeping our sites looking amazing in any weather

Few little hedge cuts for good measure aswell!

Scorcher of a week! And the lads have smashed the commercial and domestic jobs out! And we managed to replace a fence on the hottest day of the week!!

Been a week of 2 half’s, first half torrential rain second half scorching sun!

Full crew out getting the hedges, gardens and commercial sites looking good for the bank holiday weekend. weekend off for us all now but back at it from Tuesday!

Full on week this week! Turf, fencing and grounds!

We ripped out and replaced a lawn!

We ripped out and replaced a fence for one of the schools

And the lads have smashed the grass out this week!

Ramping up nicely now for the summer just need a bit more sun and we’ll be sorted!

A week of long grass and decking!

New deck and pergola install in Monmouth!
Making good use of some space in the garden and just in time for summer!

Karlos the Kubota out doing his thing at the nursery, first cut of the year for them, twas a tad long in places!

It’s been a busy couple of weeks!

This is what we’ve been upto, new grounds contract first cuts there, keeping on top all our commercial and domestic customers sites, it’s the spring rush now so the grass is growing like crazy but the mowers are eating there keep!

We’ve built a set of steps for a regular, creating access to the top of the garden, plan is now to clear and make use of the space

We built a pergola for another regular to have a swing chair at the top of garden!

And we’ve been cutting more grass!
Been an outstanding week this week for the weather, love working outdoors when it’s like this! Glorious

🌵 NOW HIRING – JOIN OUR TEAM 🌵
Joe Ford Grounds & Garden Services is looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our growing team.
🔧 Role Includes:
General garden & grounds maintenance grass cutting, hedge cutting, general upkeep of grounds and gardens
Fencing installation and repairs
Aswell as other landscaping
General labouring
Basic woodworking tasks
Outdoor labour in all weather conditions
We work in all of the great British weather so there will be wet days!
✅ Requirements:
Own transport (essential to and from work)
Driving license
Clear dbs (we will provide this upon employment)
Keen interest in gardening and outdoor work
Some experience or understanding of grounds maintenance and landscaping preferred
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We cover everything from schools and pubs to domestic gardens and commercial properties

This weeks work!

More first cuts, more grounds maintenance, big Reg had a bath, and we built a shed!

Getting through the first cuts, some lawns growing like mad some are still slow but they’re coming back to life!
Still a few spots available on the regular domestic and commercial grounds round! We offer competitive grounds contracts for all commercial sites, we look after pubs, doctors survives, schools! We also cut quite a few larger gardens with the ride on, we definitely have the machine for the job!

Complete new heavy duty shed build, strong secure and solid! Rubber one piece roof, log lap finish, built to last and not you’re average off the shelf flimsy shed!

First week of spring and this is what we’ve been upto
A week of first cuts and glorious weather 🌞 for returning customers and a few new ones! We’ve dusted off the mowers and they’ve all been out doing thier thing!

New website went live thanks again Craig Teague it’s amazing!
