🔨 Recently Completed – Rear Dormer Roof Upgrade 🔨

TCR Roofing has recently completed a full rear dormer re-roof that was well overdue for replacement. The existing covering was stripped back and replaced with a high-performance torch-on felt system, incorporating an additional 100mm of insulation to create a proper warm roof build-up — improving both thermal efficiency and long-term durability.

We also installed new white uPVC fascia boards along with deep-flow guttering and a new downpipe to ensure the rainwater system performs exactly as it should.

Due to limited natural daylight on the landing below, the customer requested the installation of two VELUX roof windows — and what a transformation! The additional light has completely changed the space, making it feel brighter, bigger, and far more welcoming.

Another extremely happy customer with the finished result 👌

We are extremely grateful to all of our existing customers and to those who may work with us in the future. Your continued trust, encouragement, and moral support have meant a great deal to us.
With Christmas fast approaching, we would like to inform you that we will be shutting down from tomorrow for the festive period. However, please be assured that we will still be taking calls and responding to emails for any emergency situations during this time.
We will be returning to work on the 7th of January, ready to continue delivering quality work for the TCR company.

Another job recently completed in Ardmair! 🎉
We removed the existing Cambrian slates, which had been fitted on too shallow a pitch and were causing several leaks throughout the extension.

After a full survey and a chat with the clients, we all agreed the best long-term fix was a complete replacement. We installed a Permavent Dry+ system, added counter battens for proper ventilation and drainage, and fitted 250mm x 500mm slates with double protection along with Easy Slate strips to make the roof fully secure on the low pitch.

A fresh new roof, built to last — and another very happy customer! 🙌

TCR Roofing recently completed a stunning new roof using grey Mini Stonewold tiles, finished with a dry ridge and dry verge system. Even in the chilly weather, our team pushed through to deliver a clean, modern, and durable finish.

Recent job completed in Ullapool.

Firstly we fitted replacement gutters and rones to front of the property.

Customer was given a few options regarding repairs to their flat roof on the dormer and chose to overlay the existing felt which included a 6 year warranty. Work completed on the dormer consisted of installing a two layer torch on felt system and fitting 4 inch welts to the perimeter to provide a deeper drip edge.

To finish cement work was completed and painted on the cheeks of the bay windows and slate repairs were done where needed.

Hi there,

Firstly I would like to thank my customers who have trusted me to carry out roofing works for them, the support means a lot to myself and my family especially as I am new to the area and setting up a new business.

After a very busy June and with July looking similar I thought now would be a good time to introduce myself properly. As many may know my name is Andrew and I have fairly recently moved to Ullapool from Cornwall. I come from a family of roofing professionals with my uncles, dad, cousins and my siblings working in the trade and I myself have been roofing since I was 17. I'll let you decide how long I've been roofing for...

Many have asked me "why Ullapool?" and have commented on how far I have moved from where I'm from. I first visited the village in 2023 with my wife who is from here and fell in love with the place on arrival. So now I'm here doing what I do best 😊

Customer reported several leaks on their flat roof. Survey and test hole showed that the insulation and decking was completely rotten so affected area was stripped back to the timber joists. Supplied and fitted new 18mm ply deck, vapour control layer (VCL), new 25mm insulation mechanically fixed, supplied and fitted Sika liquid plastics with 350 remat membrane. Finished with Sika base coat and top coat.
Lead work was then completed to finish. Cut new chase, fitted new code 4 lead into wall and lead sealed to finish.

Very grateful for the fantastic weather this week on the job 🌞🌞🌞

Customer feedback was that they were over the moon with the work that has been carried out this week.
