What a Saturday morning to be working, but we definitely needed the rain.

We have been out locally ensuring local schools are readied for the return next week.

You may recall from the 2025 season, that we helped to support via article funding for a truly worthwhile charity locally.

A child's wish.

They ensure that disadvantaged children locally, regionally and nationally have free access to toys and play.

Our single donation of £200.00, snowballed into a accumulated £3,300 in generated funds back to children right here in Uckfield, following a bumper season of additional magazine sales and funds accumulated.

We are committed to continue to support locally, and will further support this worthwhile cause for the 2026 season.

A day on the hedges and shaping today, we clipped and cleared in Danehill before moving onto Crowborough to chop and clear.

All arising onboarded for removal at our chosen green waste refuge centre, 7 ton bags away.

We undertook these hedges for a commercial contract client this morning, all hedges undertaken in line with nesting bird season.

Not only giving formality and continuity to these hedges but also more importantly finding signage and giving off first impression vibes.

This wasn't just a case of cutting hedges, but subconsciously thinking about how the next hedge marries into the next when viewing.
