It’s the end of another day 🙂
Since starting AKKA, one thing we’ve really come to appreciate is that you can’t make people choose you, and we wouldn’t want to. 🤍
There are so many brilliant tradespeople out there, and everyone has their own reasons for choosing who they want in their home.
For us, the nicest part has simply been watching things grow naturally.
We’ve had recommendations from people we’ve only recently met, new customers finding us for the first time, and even people Arthur carried out work for years ago through previous employment, who have remembered him and chosen to find him again.
And honestly, there’s something really special about that.
Because AKKA was never started with some huge plan to become the biggest name around. We just wanted to build something of our own. Something that reflected the kind of people we are, the standard Arthur has always held himself to, and something that could give our family a future we’ve built ourselves.
Behind the logo and the business page, it’s just us.
Arthur out doing the work, and me behind the scenes answering messages, organising everything, cheering him on and probably driving him slightly mad in the process. 😂🤍
And somewhere in between work, children, family life and everything else that comes with it, we’re building this little business together.
That’s why every message, recommendation and returning face genuinely means something to us. It’s never just another name in the diary.
We don’t want AKKA to be about chasing work or constantly trying to sell something. We want people to choose us because something about us feels right for them. Then it’s our job to make sure they’re glad they did.
Because you can advertise a business as much as you like, but a good name is built by the people who remember you, recommend you and choose to come back.
So to everyone who has booked us, recommended us, shared our name, come back to Arthur after all these years, or simply followed along quietly from the sidelines, thank you. 🤍
You’re not just helping a local business grow. You’re helping two people build something for their family that they genuinely care about.
And we’ll never take that for granted.
Arthur & Kayley 🤍
