CHIMNEY REPOINT🧱

📍Westbury, Wiltshire.

✔️Ground out all of the old muck work

✔️Repointed the chimney to a nice neat finish

✔️Added a chimney flaunching - which secures the chimney pot in bad weather & stops rainwater pooling on the chimney - preventing water ingress & dampness 👏🏼

⭐️⭐️ TOTAL TRANSFORMATION ⭐️⭐️

We bought this beautiful home back to life in two simple steps:

1️⃣ Removed all the old rubber & laid a new resitrix flat roof

2️⃣ Installed white tongue & groove cladding on the gable ends

OUT WITH THE OLD 👋🏼 & IN WITH THE NEW✨

Big start to the week stripping off all of these old tiles & removing all old felt and batten.

Brand new felt & batten already installed and the new tiles are going on at the end of the week 💪🏼

Keep an eye out for the finished product 📸

❌ ROOF VENTILATION ❌

Did you know that lack of ventilation in your roof can cause:

🔹Trapped moisture - leading to wood rot and potential structural damage

🔹Condensation, damp insulation & mould growing inside your home

🔹Musty / damp smells

…And many other unwanted problems…

We prevented all of this by adding soffit vents around this bungalow and adding 9 vent tiles
letting the fresh air in, and future problems out 👋🏼👋🏼

A Quick, easy fix and so much cheaper than replacing a whole roof that’s rotten.

POOF…..and the chimney is gone 🪄🪄

This dormant chimney was letting water in and instead of the customer wasting money on repairs, we suggested they simply remove it 🙅🏼‍♂️

We were able to get it gone and the roof patched up….all in a days work!
