Been a bit quiet on Facebook lately as we've been busy on the tools 🔧

This bathroom was suffering from mould and condensation due to a lack of ventilation.

We installed a new extractor fan and ducting system vented externally to improve airflow and help reduce moisture build-up.

A small job that can make a big difference to the condition of a room and help prevent mould returning in the future.

Another busy week done ✔️

This one was a fuse board upgrade following a failed inspection 🔧

The existing board didn’t meet the required standards during testing, so we upgraded to a new RCBO consumer unit, giving each circuit its own protection and improving overall safety and reliability.

All tested, labelled, and certified to current regulations ✅

Customer contacted us after attempting to replace their own bathroom light and ran into issues.

❌ Exposed wiring left unsafe
❌ Light not working
❌ Potential risk of electric shock

We attended first thing the next morning and safely installed a new light, leaving everything tested and working correctly ✅
If this hadn’t been sorted quickly, it could have been dangerous for anyone using the bathroom.

💧⚡ Water and electrics definitely don’t mix! ⚡💧

Came across this outside light today that had completely filled up with water. Not only does this stop the light working properly, but it can also become a safety risk if moisture gets into the electrical connections.

The fitting was removed and replaced with a properly sealed outdoor-rated light to keep everything safe and protected from the weather. 🌧️

If you’ve got outside lights, sockets, or fittings that look damaged or full of water, it’s always best to get them checked before they cause bigger issues.
