PROJECT COMPLETE | Natural Fit Maidstone

A disused building on the 20/20 Business Park in Allington has been transformed into a new fitness and wellness centre for Natural Fit.

RYALL Structural Engineers were pleased to contribute structural engineering to the building conversion and Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) extension. Another project successfully delivered alongside Kent Structures Ltd and Southfield Structural Services Limited.

The completed centre now includes gym and group-class facilities, a lounge and café, swimming pool and spa, padel courts and 100 parking spaces.

This is the third fitness and wellness centre we've engineered for Natural Fit – and another fascinating project to be part of.

A little project revisit to an ICF school building we engineered a few years back.

With an exciting new Education project in the offing, we're revisiting a school project this .

The School Theatre Auditorium at Queen Elizabeth's Grammar in Faversham was designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating Modern Methods of Construction to deliver a high-quality, energy-efficient facility.

The 300-seat auditorium features Ecobrix Durisol sustainable, highly insulated ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) construction, together with a Passivent natural ventilation system.

This was our first Design & Build project for Queen Elizabeth's Grammar, and we've maintained a close working relationship with the school ever since. Over the years, we've delivered a range of projects for the school, including a new teaching block, sports hall and multi-purpose dining hall facility.

And now, there's another exciting Education project on the horizon…

We look forward to revealing more in due course. It's a significant project, and one we're particularly looking forward to sharing with you.

We were on site earlier this week at Roundham Mews in Paignton – and what a difference a few months make. Amazing to see how much progress has been made, and some great sea views to be had from the scaffold!

We've been providing structural design for building foundations and the 'signature' roof trusses, working with a great local team including Novo Timber and South Devon Homes on this fantastic coastal development.

Our wellness centre project in Maidstone is now complete! We love that the Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) structure has been left exposed as a feature of the internal design 😍

PROJECT COMPLETE | Natural Fit Maidstone

We’re delighted to have completed works at Natural Fit Maidstone - our third project for Natural Fit Gyms.

The new wellness centre combines high-end fitness and leisure facilities with an innovative construction approach, including an exposed Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) structure and Insulated Concrete Forms (ICF).

The completed facility includes a new swimming pool, jacuzzi, modern changing rooms and a padel court, alongside a major reconfiguration of the car park.

It was a challenging build, particularly through the winter months, but our site team delivered a fantastic result.

A special mention goes to Kane, our Site Manager, who has delivered his first project in the role at an impressive scale. A fantastic achievement!

We are excited to hear that BOWA Medical UK HQ has won the 'Project of the Year (under £10m) Award' at the Michelmores Property Awards!

We had the pivilege of engineering this cutting-edge research and manufacturing facility in Kingskerswell for BOWA MEDICAL UK.

The award win is well-timed as it coincides nicely with the official opening of the building, which took place last week.

The Michelmores Property Awards celebrates real estate excellence across the West of England and the South West. The competition shines a spotlight on a wide range of outstanding commercial and residential projects.

Our congratulations to Devon Contractors , and the project team including Chris Jones at Pinnacle Architectural Design and Project Management, Bailey Partnership and Revisionr. As well as those working behind the scenes to get this project off the ground, including Ian Roach at Roach Planning.
