We recently completed an interior wall painting project, and this one was all about getting the basics right.
Before any paint went on, we spent time on proper prep. That means filling cracks, smoothing out uneven areas, sanding where needed, and making sure the surface was clean and ready. It’s the part most people don’t see, but it makes all the difference in how the final result looks and lasts.
For this space, the client went with a deep plum shade with warm brown tones. It brings a rich, calm feel to the room without being too bold, and it changes nicely depending on the light.
We applied three full coats to get a smooth, even finish and proper depth in the colour. No patchy areas, no shortcuts.
You’ll notice in the photos how clean and sharp everything looks, which comes down to taking time and doing each step properly.
If you’re thinking about refreshing your home or planning a repaint, this is the level of work you should expect. Good prep, proper coats, and attention to detail from start to finish.
