As a general rule of thumb it’s always worth having your heating system properly flushed when having your boiler changed, this system was extremely dirty which in turn just makes it more inefficient, all rads were separately flushed out and inhibited to stop corrosion before handing over to the customer 👍🏼

A lucky save on a Friday night 👍🏼 we were called to no heating no hot water by my in laws two Fridays ago, and safe to say their Worcester 24ri was by its best (not bad for 17 years old). it was decided that the best thing to do would be to replace it with something more efficient and reliable, so less than 24 hours later they had a new baxi 824 system boiler, done and dusted🔧

Removed this tired old boy from an inside cupboard & replaced with a new Grant Vortex Pro External Combi with a ten year warranty, blends in perfectly with the house👍👍

A recent installation of a grant vortex pro 15-26, we moved the boiler from the kitchen giving the client a cuboard back, we also replaced other parts of the heating system around the house including converting the system from open vented to sealed which will help with the overall operation of the system and reduce corrosion, we also down rated the boiler to a 15kw output, this should save the client massively on fuel 👍🏻 Mike Pryde GrantUk Craig Howat Electrical
