Just because it's brand new doesn't mean it's right for you.

These photos are from a project we completed in Tenterden, where the homeowners made the bold decision to remove a brand-new kitchen and start again.

Rather than settling for something they weren't completely happy with, they chose to create a space that better suited their lifestyle.

The kitchen features Vintage Pink doors, a combination of 40mm laminate worktops on the sink run and 30mm granite for the dedicated pastry area beside the range cooker, matt black handles, a desert sand composite farmhouse sink, a double-door larder and an American-style fridge freezer.

The island wasn't supplied by us, but it was an important part of the overall design and something the customer was keen to incorporate into the finished space.

Every project is different, and for us it's never just about supplying a kitchen, it's about understanding what's important to the customer and creating a room that works for the way they live.

We're delighted with how this one turned out.

A lovely little kitchen we completed in Tenterden a few months ago 🏡

Our client first came into the showroom on the off chance, convinced we’d be far too expensive for what she needed. We hear that quite a lot actually, and we were so pleased we could show her that a beautiful new kitchen doesn’t have to cost the earth.

It may have been a small kitchen, but we completely project managed the whole job for her from start to finish, organising the electrician, plumber, fitter and decorator so she didn’t have the stress of coordinating everyone herself.

We supplied a new Franke sink and tap, AEG hob and oven with a 5-year guarantee, traditional pewter-effect handles, LED downlighting and wood-effect laminate worktops. The tiling was supplied by , one of our trusted local partners.

One of the biggest challenges with this property was access, as there simply wasn’t room for a skip. Instead, we arranged all rubbish removal for her as well. As registered waste carriers, it’s something we’re able to offer to help make the whole process that little bit easier for our customers.

We honestly love projects like this.

Not every kitchen needs starting from scratch

For this project in Tenterden, we only replaced a mix of solid wood and granite surfaces with a light quartz worksurface, and installed a brand new double bowl Belfast sink to replace the old, used one.

You’d be surprised how far a few small changes can go. Sometimes that’s all it takes to bring a kitchen back to life.

Giving this kitchen a whole new lease of life… and what a result!

We’ve just recently completely this kitchen facelift in Staplehurst.

Rather than replacing the existing cabinets, we reworked them to suit the new design.

Here are the additions and updates made as part of the project:

🔹 Light grey painted shaker doors
🔹 30mm Silestone Posidonia Green quartz worktop
🔹 Franke ceramic inset sink
🔹 Caple Purity drinking water tap
🔹 Pull-out waste bin for added convenience
🔹 New soft-close hinges on existing cabinetry
🔹 Stylish new handles (for that final touch)

A great example of how a few well thought out updates can completely refresh a kitchen while making the most of what’s already there.
