Porch Project - Stage 1 Complete!
The team have been busy getting stuck into this porch project, and Stage 1 is now complete!

This stage involved excavating the area and relocating two drainage chambers to allow for the new concrete slab. During excavation, we discovered that both chambers had originally been installed incorrectly, one with 4 joints in a row someone must have run out of pipe! with leaks present at nearly every joint.

We repositioned the chambers, corrected the installation and ensured the drainage is now functioning properly.

The new concrete slab was then installed with two layers of reinforcement mesh spaced 50mm apart and a substantial concrete pour, providing a strong and durable foundation ready for the next stages of the porch build.

On to Stage 2!

Recent Project Completed!🪚
We recently completed the removal of an outdated conservatory, replacing it with a high-quality composite decking area to create a modern, low-maintenance outdoor living space we took care of all the design as well as materials and waste removal to ensure everything went smoothly.
This was a fantastic project to be part of from start to finish, and despite working through the recent heatwave, we're delighted with the finished result.☀️

First stage of the Elephant's Nest project complete.
The original stone walls were more than 50mm out of plumb and far from straight, but we overcame the challenge by counter-battening over the Delta tanking membrane to achieve a perfectly straight and plumb finish.

Big Changes at the Elephant's Nest project: the original roof timbers have been strengthened and treated, new studwork installed, and the entire structure insulated while still leaving an adequate ventilation gap. We've also fitted a vapour control layer (VCL) and plasterboard throughout, along with two new door frames to accommodate the existing oak doors🚪 🏠

Part of our work on the Elephant's Nest Pub project involved the transformation of a deteriorated porch roof. Upon inspection, we discovered the existing structure was severely rotten and at risk of collapse. We removed the damaged roof and installed a bespoke timber cut roof, which was then completed and finished by the roofing team✅🪚

A look back at a project from the end of last year, where we replaced a media wall and built large-scale bespoke wardrobes tailored to our client's specifications-later adapted to include additional overhead storage.

A recently completed a project in sunny
Bude☀️, working on a stunning manor house. A new window was installed first within the existing frame, carefully removing extensive wood rot from the sill and replacing it with new timber. The area was then filled, caulked, and painted-restoring it to a like-new finish.

Bespoke fire door cut and lipped fitted into a fire frame and made good with fire rated expanding foam and sealant to ensure the plant room of liskeard church is up to fire regulations🔥🚪
