Recent boiler installation.

This customer had a leak coming from there heat only boiler. So they called me out and I identified the leak was coming from the main heat exchanger. So we discussed options to move forward.

They opted for a new Baxi 816 heat with a 10 year manufacturers guarantee!!! Due to the cost of the repair out weighing the long term benefits of a new boiler without the worry of repair costs for 10 years.

In this case I feel they made the correct decision and are now happy they have an efficient working heating system and hot water.

This was the boiler I was called out to for low pressure which has apparently been serviced and safety checked annually for the last 6 years! It failed miserably on my safety checks.

This outlines the importance of having a reputable company/engineer to complete your boiler service every year.

This boiler will be back up and running safely on Monday once the replacement parts have arrived. The customer will then have a safe and efficient working boiler, safety being the main concern here.
