MYTH: A health and safety management system needs to be huge to be effective.
REALITY: It needs to be relevant, understood and used.
A management system should give people clear answers to practical questions:
• What do I need to do?
• Who is responsible?
• Where is the evidence kept?
• How do we report a concern?
• What happens next?
Copying a generic system may give you more documents, but it does not automatically give your team more clarity.
A bespoke approach starts with how your organisation operates and builds the policies, procedures and controls around the risks people actually manage.
Need a system that fits the business rather than a template that gathers dust?
