Designed as a welcoming retreat for guests staying at this Georgian manor on the outskirts of Bath, this shower room combines classic detailing with thoughtful, practical design.
A key part of the renovation was reworking the layout. By repositioning the basin and WC, the room now offers a far more elegant first impression, with the bespoke vanity becoming the focal point when the door is opened.
The vanity itself was carefully detailed, featuring a pale oak finish and a floating design softened by a substantial marble worktop. The curved silhouette of the shower screen echoes the gentle forms found throughout the room, creating a sense of balance and cohesion.
Natural marble was used extensively, from the vanity splashback to the shower enclosure, where chevron-laid marble tiles bring texture, movement and timeless character. Refined nickel fittings and carefully scaled brassware complete the scheme, ensuring every element feels considered and in keeping with the property's period architecture.
The result is a guest bathroom that feels calm, elegant and enduring, a space that quietly reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail found throughout the wider renovation.
