Small job, big hours π οΈ
Finished up in the bedroom this week β and it's a good reminder that the "small" projects are often the ones that eat up the most time.
β
Deep-cleaning and masking old plaster residue embedded in the wood
β
Painting the wardrobe, walls, and ceilings
β
Laying tile in the bathroom
β
Fitting trim strips onto the existing MDF shelving fronts to unify the sizing β such a small detail, but it made a massive difference
β
Cleaning up window sills, shelves, and skirting boards
β
Final coat of paint to bring it all together
Every one of these looked like a quick fix on paper. In reality, the prep work β cleaning, masking, matching finishes β took far longer than the visible "after." That's the part people rarely see, but it's what makes the final result look seamless.
