☀️ Did you use your heat pump to cool your home during the many heatwaves this summer? You might want to check how your system was designed.

If chilled water is circulated through pipework that isn’t properly protected, condensation can form on the pipes, including beneath floors, behind walls and around hidden pipework.

And the worrying part is, you may not notice it straight away. Repeated moisture in enclosed spaces could potentially lead to damp, mould, damaged flooring and deterioration of the materials around your pipes over time.

The important bit? A heat pump having a cooling setting doesn’t automatically mean your whole heating system is cooling-ready.
