Making Rooms is the brainchild of founding director Steve Nash, who established the family-run business 15 years ago. Steve spent many years in the construction industry honing his trade before stepping out on his own. Drawing on his experience and knowledge, Steve has built a strong team and works alongside his partner Maggie Nash, to deliver exception projects. Today Making Rooms offers a full a

rray of services from basic shell constructions through to complete turnkey builds where clients can entrust the entire project to our senior team. Making Rooms has built a strong reputation for being reliable and delivering quality. No project is too big nor too small, with each one approached in a detailed and professional manner. We let the results of our work do the talking and begin each quotation by showing potential clients past builds, allowing them to see the standard of our work and to get an unbiased report from the home owner. In a nutshell, we treat each home as if it were our own and apply smart solutions and the experiences we have gained as a team over the past few decades to each project.

Drawing on his experience and knowledge, Steve has built a strong team and works alongside his partner Maggie Nash to deliver exceptional projects. Today Making Rooms offers a full array of services from basic shell constructions through to complete turnkey builds where clients can entrust the entire project to its senior team.

Since launching the business in 2007, Steve and his team have built upwards of 100 rooms, whether they be a loft conversion, extension or both - each one different and bespoke.

An example of a Tier III package, the owners of this property opted to do a full renovation that included a rear extension, adding significantly to an open plan lounge / kitchen and a loft conversion to create a spacious master bedroom with en suite.

To make the most of this new build, Making Rooms extended the width of the house to make a large kitchen and dining area, with direct access to the lounge and TV room. Large French doors open outwards to reveal a spacious garden and patio area.

In South Croydon, glass doors and skylights invite natural light into this home extension by day. By night, the pendant and pot lights illuminate the room. The convertible indoor/outdoor space is perfect for entertaining guests in any season.

Completing this space is a large waterfall island equipped with a stovetop cook station, wine cooler, and plenty of room for friends and family.

Extensions are a great way to add additional space to the ground level of an existing property, while also adding value to it come re-sale.

Like loft conversions, where possible Making Rooms will arrange viewings to similar extensions in a client’s area to see what is possible and give them additional ideas.

In this Addiscombe extension, skylights and bi-folding glass doors allow natural light to flood this new space which include an open kitchen and dining area with a separate laundry room, and an inviting lounge with a high sloping ceiling.

Careful structural calculations and large steel beams were purposefully integrated to make it look like the original build.

This Bromley Loft Conversion shower room features great complementary colours and patterns.

White hex tile, black accent pieces and hardware, and natural wood finishing all work together to give the room a classic, yet modern look!
