Quick meter box installation on the way home. Back to install a 25mm 3 core next week to re feed the consumer unit of this body shop repair centre. Ran out of all round band so improvised with a bit of copper until we return and change it.

Got reminded of this from last year. We found this in a house that we were doing a loft conversion on and the property had only been fully rewired 2 months prior. Guy was cheap tho. And for my non electrical followers you can’t use service pipe work as an earth conductor. What happens if the Gas meter got relocated. You house would loose it’s earth altogether, and would the gas man even know this. Very unlikely.

My advise .............. just use us! 😂

Tough 2 days on the 2 bed pull through. Normally pretty simple rewires, but with a complex lighting and socket tube system added with one of the hardest board changes I’ve done for a while, me and put in 2 long days to get this rental property up to a safe standard for continued use. Also rewired 4 heaters controlled from a separate fuse board hidden in a random kitchen cupboard. Thanks for all your efforts, not just today but over what feels like a relentless busy period.

Love getting to play with my own house for a change. We are the crazy people throwing a brand new kitchen in the skip, but what’s replacing it is 🔥🔥 1st fix electrics by yours truly, .plumbing made the 400 mile trip to pipe up underfloor heating installed in December, replace some rads with towel rails, alter utility room pipe work to make the tumble drier for and install a hot and cold outdoor tap. All set for to work his magic with the kitchen now.
