𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗪𝗜𝗧𝗛 𝗔 𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗥 𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗦𝗧 🤎

Not every Victorian tiled path needs to be black and white - this terracotta, cream and dark-bordered geometric path was designed to complement the warm brickwork and period character of the property, instantly adding value to the home.

The path uses diamond-set square tiles in a repeating geometric pattern creating a strong visual rhythm along the length of the pathway, drawing the eye naturally towards the entrance...and a great welcome home

It’s a great example of how a Victorian-style garden path can feel authentic to a period property without simply replicating the same black-and-white design you see regularly.

For Victorian and Edwardian homes in Surbiton, Kingston, Thames Ditton and across Surrey, the right tiled front path can completely transform the relationship between the house, garden and street.

At Bloomin’ Marvellous, we can design and build bespoke Victorian tiled paths, from traditional geometric patterns to more individual colour combinations, or as part of a wider front garden transformation.

🌿 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗠𝗨𝗟𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗢 𝗜𝗠𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗧? 🌿

Mulching might not be the most glamorous part of gardening, but it can make a huge difference to the health of your garden 🌱

A good layer of mulch can help to:

🌿 Retain moisture in the soil, helping plants through drier periods
🌿 Suppress weeds, reducing competition for water and nutrients
🌿 Improve soil health as organic mulch breaks down
🌿 Protect plant roots from temperature changes
🌿 Add nutrients back into the soil over time
🌿 Give borders a neater, more finished appearance

And the key is getting the right mulch, applied at the right depth and in the right way for your plants and soil.

At Bloomin’ Marvellous, we look at the whole garden - not just how it looks today, but how we can help it stay healthy and thrive.

Your front garden boundary does more than mark your property boundary - the right metal garden fencing and bespoke gate can add luxury, security, define the entrance and make a huge difference.

We work with R&G Metal Products to incorporate bespoke metalwork into our landscaping designs and we love the outcomes their high quality metal products bring our clients.

𝗪𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿:
▪️ Bespoke metal garden fencing
▪️ Made-to-measure metal gates

▪️ Secure boundary detailing without making the frontage feel closed in
▪️ Metalwork integrated with the wider garden design and landscaping

At Bloomin' Marvellous, we make sure your hard landscaping, planting, paving and metalwork work together as one considered design, whether we're working on the whole install for you, or adding to existing elements.

We've made loyal clients, local connections and lifelong friendships along the way, and we couldn’t have reached 25 years without each and every person that has supported since we began.

So, if you’ve enjoyed following our work, worked with us, recommended us, or simply love seeing what we create…

🌸 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗔𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗭𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗦 🌸

Got a long, narrow garden? Don’t try to make everything happen in one space!

If you live in Surbiton, Kingston, Long Ditton or the surrounding Surrey area, you may be familiar with the classic Victorian or Edwardian terrace garden - a long, narrower space stretching out behind the house.

And while these gardens can sometimes feel tricky to design, their shape can actually work really well.

The secret? Zoning.

Instead of seeing your garden as one long stretch, think about how you want to use each part of it.

🌿 A place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee
🌱 A planting area filled with colour and interest
🍽️ Space for outdoor dining
🌳 A quieter spot at the end of the garden
🌸 Maybe even a productive area for growing your own

Good garden design can create a sense of different 'rooms', making a long garden feel more interesting, practical and connected.

And zoning isn't just for narrow gardens. It can work brilliantly in larger Surrey gardens too helping you make the most of the space you have.

Not sure how to make your garden work harder for you?

Our garden design and landscaping experts can help you plan a garden that's beautiful, practical and designed around the way you actually use it.

If you'd like help transforming your garden, get in touch to find out more about our garden design and landscaping services across Surbiton, Kingston and Surrey.
