Our hotel complex was hosting a local wedding reception, definitely a BIG Greek Wedding. Instead of telling us the restaurant was closed that night they kept it open and we had a bird's eye view of the festivities. What a joy, really topped off our holiday. We dressed smartly, as it happened we all wore blue and white outfits, fitting in with the colours of the Greek flag. I handmade them a personalised gift with their married name and date of the wedding on it and got to give it to them just before they made a spectacular entrance.

I have lots of items of furniture for sale, several unusual vintage. I had a trouser press for ages but apart from playing " what am I " at vintage fairs, there was no interest. But someone else saw what I didn't. They cleverly married 2 of my pieces up in their mind, using the trouser press on top of a sewing machine treadle base.
