Oh no, my bathroom fan has stopped working and before that it was making a horrid noise!

So we replaced that and also carried out a few other repairs and replacements whilst onsite.

Customer was happy that everything was done speedily, but correctly. All in a days work, but in reality just a small job before heading over to other customer appointments.

Update: Working on a partly rewired property!

Just a heads-up: when signing off on work started by others, my assessment covers full compliance. If parts of the installation don't meet current safety regulations, they’ll need to be corrected before I can sign off. It’s all about making sure your home is safe and compliant.

Regulations dictate that cables should be installed horizontally or vertically online with sockets or switches, or 150mm within the corner of a wall.
Clearly this electrician didn't remember this rule!

Led profile and warm white tape were installed in these wardrobes. By using sensors, the lights will automatically illuminate on either of the doors being opened.
Again more quality components supplied by Taylor lighting.

Part of an LED Installation project. This one room completed with LED profile and warm white tape for a dressing table.
Its always a pleasure to deal with Taylor lighting in Redditch. So helpful and they help with every little detail such as labelling the products for each room.

Had an emergency call out after somebody had replaced this led strip light above a tall staircase.
Instead of earthing the light fitting, the previous installer had mistakenly put a live connection into the earth terminal. If the power had been on and I had accessed the light from tall steps id have received a nasty shock and fall from height!
Deteriorating cables and lack of earth meant we had to rewire this circuit before re-energising.

Getting some cables pulled in today and every electrician knows the pains of having to run up and down the stairs when you've got no help today.
