Revisiting this handmade kitchen in North Yorkshire…
Now that the worktops are on and everything is finally finished, we thought we’d take another look at this one. We decided to do something a little different with the detailing on this kitchen, particularly around the corners.
Rather than using the individual curved corner pieces we commonly see, we designed fully curved skirting sections that wrap continuously around the corners as much as possible, creating a much softer and more seamless finish. We paired this with a traditional curved cornice and subtle up-lighting, which really helps to highlight the shape and craftsmanship.
Inside the cabinetry, we’ve gone for oak veneered internals throughout, adding warmth and continuity to the scheme. One of the standout features is the huge bespoke larder cupboard, complete with door-operated LED lighting, making the contents much easier to see and access.
We also added personalised engraved drawers (names blurred for privacy) and a massive bespoke cutlery insert, incorporating dedicated knife storage and plenty of space for everything else.
Also our face frames are usually in one piece. Three base cabinets one frame. No one else does it like us.
A lot of thought and craftsmanship has gone into the smaller details on this kitchen, and we’re really pleased with how it has all come together. Bespoke cabinetry, designed and made to suit the space, rather than the other way around.
