⚡ A few jobs completed by R.E.C Electrical this week! ⚡

🔌 EV Charger Installation & Consumer Unit Upgrade

This week we completed an EV charger installation, along with an upgrade to the customer’s existing consumer unit to ensure the installation had the appropriate protection and met the latest Wiring Regulations.

The customer was given the choice of either installing a separate consumer unit specifically for the EV charger, or upgrading their existing consumer unit to accommodate the new dedicated EV charging circuit.

They opted to upgrade the existing consumer unit, providing a neat and future-proof solution for their home.

💡 Agricultural Shed – High Bay Lighting & Socket

We also installed high bay lighting and a new socket in an agricultural shed, providing much-needed lighting when parking and working around plant and machinery.

Another couple of jobs completed safely and professionally by R.E.C Electrical. ⚡

✨ Another quality installation completed by R.E.C Electrical! ✨
A few months ago, we completed the electrical first fix and wiring for this summer house. Last week, we returned to install the customer’s chosen exterior lighting.

The customer supplied the lights and asked us to keep all cabling as discreet as possible. To achieve this, we installed black PVC conduit, carefully positioned to blend in with the exterior while providing a neat, safe, and professional finish.

The lighting is controlled by both a timer and a dusk-to-dawn sensor, allowing it to operate automatically when required. We also installed a manual override, giving the customer the flexibility to switch the lights on whenever they want, outside of the programmed settings.
We’re really pleased with how this installation turned out, and it’s great to see the project come together from the initial wiring through to the finished result.
